The service is managed using a small application, available for Windows, Mac and Linux, directly using the operating system file manager. On Linux, dropbox provides a plugin for the Nautilus GNOME file manager, and an applet for the GNOME panel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To install Dropbox under openSUSE 11.1, you simply need to follow this procedure:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Install it from the openSUSE buildservice, using <a href=\"http:\/\/software.opensuse.org\/ymp\/home:ajorgensen\/openSUSE_11.1\/nautilus-dropbox.ymp\" target=\"_blank\">1-click install<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Open a terminal in your home directory and execute:\n<ul>\n<li>cp .xinitrc.template .xinitrc<\/li>\n<li>Edit your ~\/.xinitrc file<\/li>\n<li>Locate the &#8220;# Add your own lines here&#8230;&#8221; comment<\/li>\n<li>Add: `xhost local:root` under that comment<\/li>\n<li>Save the file and exit your editor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Logout from your GNOME session and login again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this point, you should see the Dropbox icon in your system tray.
